54 million litres of drinking milk produced in april
54.1 million litres of drinking milk were produced in April 2024.
The major part of it (29.3 million litres, or 54.3%) was semi-skimmed milk. Whole milk represented 36.6% of total production, skimmed milk 4.8% and buttermilk 4.3%.
In addition, 10.9 million litres of milk drinks and chocolate milk were produced, as well as 23.1 million litres of cream, 27.6 million litres of fermented milk and yoghurt, 21,569 tonnes of milk powder, 11,278 tonnes of cheese and 6,063 tonnes of traditional butter.
