53 million litres of milk produced in January 

53.5 million litres of milk were produced in January 2021. The major part of it (32.4 million litres, or 60.5%) was semi-skimmed milk.

Whole milk accounted for 32.9% of the total production and skimmed milk for 6.6%.

Besides, 14.1 million litres of chocolate milk were produced, as well as 17 million litres of cream, 22.7 million litres of fermented milk, 4 million litres of yoghurt, 8,715 tonnes of cheese and 8,596 tonnes of butter (farm butter and blended butter).
