The number of first registrations in May 2021 remains at the highest level ever observed for that month in the last 5 years. It amounts to 7,745 new enterprises.
The number of re-registrations is higher than in 2020 and comparable to 2018.
As in previous month, both phenomena are partially offset by a significant number of de-registrations (4,803). Nevertheless, the population of VAT-registered units increased by 3,933 units in May.
