52 million litres of drinking milk produced in November

51.6 million litres of drinking milk were produced in November 2023.

The major part of it (29.8 million litres, or 57.8%) was semi-skimmed milk. Whole milk represented 33.6% of total production, skimmed milk 5.4% and buttermilk 3.3%.

In addition, 14.3 million litres of milk drinks and chocolate milk were produced, as well as 22.6 million litres of cream, 26.8 million litres of fermented milk and yoghurt, 17,948 tonnes of milk powder, 10,563 tonnes of cheese and 5,060 tonnes of traditional butter.

Dairy statistics show the quantity of milk and cream collected from dairy farms and the products thereof (cow’s milk on a monthly basis, other than cow’s milk on an annual basis).
