Economic indicators
In July 2020, the seasonally adjusted industrial production index decreased by 0.4 % compared to June 2020. The calendar adjusted index reflects a decrease of 5.2 % compared to July 2019. So compared to last year, July also registers a decrease of the economic activity due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The results for July 2020 are provisional. Rather significant revisions have been carried out in various sectors for May and June, due to the late receipt of some declarations in view of the current situation.
