Prices of wheat and winter wheat decreasing

The producer price for breadmaking wheat has reached €14.12 (for 100 kg) in August 2019, which corresponds to a drop of more than 28 % compared to August 2018.

The producer price for winter wheat also shows the same downward trend, falling from €19.60 for 100 kg in August 2018 to €13.40 for 100 kg in August 2019 (i.e. a decrease of almost 32 %).

However, the producer prices for pigs and eggs have increased by 20 % and 32.2 %, respectively, compared to August 2018.
