The overall agricultural producer price index decreases by 2.7% in January

In January, the main monthly changes in producer prices were observed for ware potatoes (+15.5% for the root crops index), pears (+12.9%) and vegetables (-15.7%). Outdoor vegetables register the sharpest decrease compared to December (-9.0%) with, among others, the decrease in the price of chicory, which is lower than at the beginning of last year.

Animal products, on the other hand, remain relatively stable.
