The index of gross wages and salaries in industry amounted to 124.34 in the fourth quarter of 2018. This represents an increase of 3,2% compared to the fourth quarter of 2017.
The index of gross wages and salaries in construction amounted to 124.62 in the fourth quarter of 2018. This represents an increase of 6,4% compared to the fourth quarter of 2017.
The index of gross wages and salaries in trade and repair amounted to 121.87 in the fourth quarter of 2018. This represents an increase of 2,5% compared to the fourth quarter of 2017.
The index of gross wages and salaries in services amounted to 130.31 in the fourth quarter of 2018. This represents an increase of 4,0% compared to the fourth quarter of 2017.
The figures for the fourth quarter of 2018 are provisional.
What changes from July 2018
From July 2018 on (reference quarter=first quarter 2018), the indices will be published with reference year 2015 = 100.
