Increase in the Labour Cost Index in the fourth quarter of 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the hourly labour cost increased by 2.2% on an annual basis.

Broken down by sector, the sharpest increase of the hourly labour cost (+3.4%) on an annual basis is registered in “Manufacturing” (NACE section C), while the lowest increase (+1.3%) is observed in “Public administration and defence; compulsory social security” (section O).
