Increase in agricultural indices between October and November 2023

Between October and November 2023, the price index for agricultural plant products rose by 12.7%, driven by the recovery in prices for ware potatoes on the free market. The agricultural index for animals and animal products remained relatively stable (+0.5%).

For horticultural products, there was an increase of 11.4% compared to October, following the rise in the vegetable index (+21.4%).

In total, the overall index for agricultural and horticultural products in November 2023 has increased by 5.9% compared to the previous month, but has also decreased by 5.9% compared to November 2022.
