Following a further significant decrease in February (-34.2%), the average output price for brown eggs (of 62.5 grams net of surcharge depending on quantity and quality) fell back to similar levels as those of the first half of 2017 and amounted to €6.01 per 100 eggs.

In addition, the milk price - standardised (100 kg, 38 g fat content and 33.5 g protein per litre) - has collapsed since the beginning of the year with a decrease of 12.6% since December. This represents a decrease of 9.5% compared to February 2017.
