In 2016, the total environmental protection expenditure by the mining and quarrying industry and the manufacturing industry have decreased by 7.2% compared to 2015.
Current expenditure (labour cost, rent payments, energy consumption, among others) of the industry on environmental protection have also decreased by 5% compared to 2015.
Total investment has decreased by almost 10%, particularly with a 19.2% decrease in integrated investments and capital expenditure on new, or modification of (existing) technologies or equipment designed to reduce the amount of pollution created at the source.
