The Covid-19 crisis had a significant impact on the number of registrations and de-registrations compared to April in previous years.
In April 2020, the number of new enterprises amounted to 6,589, which is a 38.5 % decrease compared to April 2019.
There were 40.9 % less restarts than a year earlier. There were 25.7 % less cessations in April 2020 than in the same period of the previous year.
At the end of April 2020, 1,022,851 VAT-registered enterprises were active in our country, i.e. 3.3 % more than the year before.
