54 million litres of drinking milk produced in January

54.4 million litres of drinking milk were produced in January 2025.

The major part of it (30.9 million litres, or 56.7%) was semi-skimmed milk. Whole milk represented 35.2% of total production, skimmed milk 4.9% and buttermilk 3.2%.

In addition, 14.6 million litres of milk drinks and chocolate milk were produced, as well as 23.4 million litres of cream, 29.2 million litres of fermented milk and yoghurt, 17,266 tonnes of milk powder, 11,474 tonnes of cheese and 5,594 tonnes of traditional butter.
