3.21 million of overnight stays in October

The number of overnight stays spent in tourist accommodations in October 2017 amounted to 3.21 million. 53 % of them took place in a hotel. 1,978,893 overnight stays were registered in the Flemish Region, 640,726 in the Walloon Region and 593,535 in Brussels.

36,855,214 overnight stays have been booked in 2016 in Belgium.

This represents a 4 % decrease compared to 2015. Especially the period from April (-15 %) to August (-5 %) registered a number of overnight stays far below the 2015 figures. More...
