In 2017, the total environmental protection expenditure by the mining and quarrying industry and the manufacturing industry have increased by 9,1% compared to 2016.
Current expenditure (labour cost, rent payments, energy consumption, among others) of the industry on environmental protection have decreased by 6,2% compared to 2016.
Total investment has increased by 28,1%, particularly with a 43.4% increase in integrated investments and capital expenditure on new, or modification of (existing) technologies or equipment designed to reduce the amount of pollution created at the source.
