During the week from 8 to 14 May included (week 19), the business courts pronounced 245 bankruptcies, resulting in a total of 590 job losses.

The figures for week 19 reveal an increase in the number of bankruptcies and job losses compared to the previous week.

During the first 19 weeks of 2023, the business courts pronounced 3,746 bankruptcies. This figure is 11.2% higher than in the first 19 weeks of 2022 and 4.7% lower than in the same weeks of 2019.

Job losses amount to 11,542 in 2023, an increase of 40.7% compared to 2022 and of 3.1% compared to 2019.
