During the week from 29 January to 4 February included (week 5), the business courts pronounced 236 bankruptcies, resulting in a total of 799 job losses.

The figures for week 5 reveal a stabilisation of the number of bankruptcies and an increase in the number of job losses compared to the previous week.

During the first 5 weeks of 2024, the business courts pronounced 1,011 bankruptcies. This figure is 18.7% higher than in the first 5 weeks of 2023 and 39.3% higher than in the same weeks of 2022.

Job losses amount to 3,045 in 2024, a decrease of 24.9% compared to 2023 but an increase of 65.6% compared to 2022.
