211 bankruptcies in week 13

During the week from 27 March to 2 April included (week 13), the business courts pronounced 211 bankruptcies, resulting in a total of 581 job losses.

The figures for week 13 reveal a stabilisation of the number of bankruptcies and an increase in the number of job losses compared to the previous week.

During the first 13 weeks of 2023, the business courts pronounced 2,536 bankruptcies. This figure is 7.6% higher than in the first 13 weeks of 2022 and 6.2% lower than in the same weeks of 2019.

Job losses amount to 8,242 in 2023, an increase of 40.5% compared to 2022 and of 2.9% compared to 2019.
