204 bankruptcies in week 12

During the week from 20 to 26 March included (week 12), the business courts pronounced 204 bankruptcies, resulting in a total of 480 job losses.

The figures for week 12 reveal an increase in the number of bankruptcies and a stabilisation of the number of job losses compared to the previous week.

During the first 12 weeks of 2023, the business courts pronounced 2,319 bankruptcies. This figure is 11.2% higher than in the first 12 weeks of 2022 and 6.0% lower than in the first 12 weeks of 2019.

Job losses amount to 7,649 in 2023, an increase of 45.8% compared to 2022 and of 4.0% compared to 2019.
