The number of overnight stays spent in Belgian tourist accommodations amounted to 2,033,592 in January 2025. Most of these overnight stays were in:
- Hotels (61%)
- Holiday homes and apartments (13%)
- Holiday parks (13%)
The number of overnight stays was 2% higher in January 2025[1] than in January 2024 (1,997,589).
In the Walloon Region, there were 384,456 overnight stays, or a 4% decrease compared to January 2024.
In the Flemish Region, there were 1,167,105 overnight stays, which is an increase of 2% compared to January 2024.
In the Brussels-Capital Region, there were 482,031 overnight stays, This is a 7% increase compared to January 2024.
