So the figures for week 8 reveal a decrease in the number of bankruptcies and job losses compared to the previous week.
During the first 8 weeks of 2023, the business courts pronounced 1,471 bankruptcies. This figure is 12.5% higher than in the first 8 weeks of 2022.
Job losses per bankruptcy are 49.6% higher in 2023 than in the previous year. This increase is mainly due to the bankruptcy of a large enterprise in the trade sector in January.
