So the figures for week 24 reveal a decrease in the number of bankruptcies and job losses compared to the previous week.
The number of bankruptcies pronounced is generally lower during the week following Whit Sunday. This calendar effect also occurred last week.
During the first 24 weeks of 2025, the business courts pronounced 5,426 bankruptcies. This figure is 4.6% higher than in the first 24 weeks of 2024 and 15.3% higher than in the same weeks of 2023.
Job losses amount to 13,949 in 2025, a decrease of 3.7% compared to 2024 but an increase of 12.2% compared to 2023.
