1,466 tonnes of fish landed in January

In January, the quantity of fish landed by Belgian vessels and sold in Belgian ports amounted to 1,466 tonnes.

With 486 tonnes, plaice accounts for a third of the quantity landed, cuttlefish for 14 % (210 tonnes) and sole for 9 % (125 tonnes).

In terms of value, sole, which was worth 12.1 € per kilo in January, accounts for 30 % of the total, plaice for 20 % and cuttlefish for 17 %.
