1.3% decrease in the agricultural output price index

The overall agricultural index is rather stable in early 2025. Compared to January 2024, the index decreased by 1.3% in the first month of the year. While the index for plant products decreased by 7.4%, that of animals and animal products increased by 3.7%. In terms of monthly evolution, on the other hand, the index of animals and animal products lost 3.5% compared to December 2024. In particular, compared to the previous month, there has been a decrease of 9.4% in the pig index and 10.9% in the egg index.
