Do you want a better picture of the various tests of the European Statistics Competition? Take a look at a number of sample assignments from previous editions. 

1: Online test

The first test consists of a three-part online test with multiple-choice questions.

1. One part tests the theoretical knowledge of statistical concepts.
2. In the second part, students have to answer questions about an official publication.
3. In the third part, students must search for information on websites of statistical institutes (such as Statbel and Eurostat).

2: Video assignment

In this test, all selected teams will be asked to create a video of no more than 2 minutes on a specific topic.

The video may be in Dutch, French, German or English, but must have English subtitles.

The topic is the same for all European countries, as the winners of all countries will compete with each other at European level.
