Johannes Klotz has a Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research from University of Vienna. Since 2001 he has been employed at Statistics Austria, the Austrian National Statistical Institute. His work includes Demographic Analyses (especially Mortality), Demographic Projections, Stochastic Demography, Small-area Estimation, Household Income and Consumption Analysis, Longitudinal Sample Survey Analysis, and Impact Assessment. Johannes Klotz has published around 50 papers in national and international journals. Currently he is investigating the excess mortality of homeless people and demographic disparities between urban and rural parts of Austria.
