International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO)

The International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) is a classification composed by the ILO (International Labour Organization). Its most recent version, ISCO-08, was adopted in 2008 and is preceded by three other versions (ISCO-58, ISCO-68 and ISCO-88).

This classification will be used from 2011 onward to code occupations in the surveys conducted by Statistics Belgium.

The table shows the ISCO occupation codes up to the most detailed level (4 digits) in four languages. More information can be found on the International Labour Organization (ILO) website.
