Press releases on general topics such as property, population, traffic and the labour market also appear regularly.

The Digital Library contains a selection of studies, articles, reports, doctoral theses and papers that may be of interest to our audience.

It includes not only publications from Statistics Belgium, but also from universities and institutions such as the National Bank and the Federal Planning Bureau. They are usually analyses based on figures from our organisation. The Digital Library therefore serves as a forum without Statistics Belgium taking any position in the debate.

You can search by topic (e.g. Labour market, Economy, Enterprises, Mobility, Environment) and by date. Each item also comes with a short summary.

Publications Publications

Statistics Belgium edits a large number of statistical publications, one-off or monthly, annual or other, on paper or digital. A publication is a printed or printable selection of texts, tables and/or charts in a proper layout.

All current publications from 2000 onward and a selection of the most interesting older publications can be downloaded as PDF file from the website. All publications are always available in Dutch and French.

Additionally, many older and non-current publications are also available electronically, and can be requested for free by e-mail (sales@economie.fgov.be) if you clearly mention the title and number or period of the desired publication and, if known, the publication code.
