Economic indicators
The volume of sales in retail trade, excluding fuels, has increased by 1.6 % in January 2020 compared to the same month last year.
In the same period, the sharpest increase was registered for “Retail sale via mail order houses or via Internet”, i.e. a rise of 12.9 %.
From March 2018 onwards, indices are expressed with reference year 2015=100.
The series “Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco” for the deflator of sales and the quantity has been revised from February 2018.
The series “Retail sale via mail order houses or via Internet” for the value and quantity has been revised for January 2019.
