In March 2020, the lockdown measures due to the COVID-19 crisis had an impact on the industrial production. Consequently, the seasonally adjusted production index reflected a decrease of 5.5 % compared to February 2020. The calendar adjusted production index reflected a decrease of 3.0 % compared to March 2019.
The results for March 2020 are provisional. The crisis due to the COVID-19 did not require to adapt the methodology of this statistic.
