Economic indicators
In June 2020, the lockdown easing measures had a positive impact on the seasonally adjusted industrial turnover index which registers a 3.9 % increase compared to May 2020. The calendar adjusted index reflects a decrease of 19.1 % compared to June 2019. So compared to last year, June also registers a sharp decrease of the economic activity due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The results for June 2020 are provisional. Rather significant revisions have been carried out in various sectors for April and May, due to the late receipt of some declarations in view of the current situation.
