Increase in horticultural output prices

Monthly agricultural price index and average monthly prices (output en input)

The agricultural output price index has increased in September, driven among others by an increase in average output prices for horticultural products.
Besides, prices for cauliflowers have increased from 0.53€/head in September 2017 to 1.73€/head in September 2018.
Output price indices for tomatoes and celeriac are also on the rise compared to the previous month and September 2017, while the average output price for cereals is slightly decreasing (-6 % compared to August).
