Demobel: new demographic database

When the new population figures were published in June 2019, Statbel, the Belgian statistical office, published for the first time figures from Demobel, its new demographic database. This database is updated annually and contains more than 30 years of Belgium's demographic history.

Demobel contains an overview of the structure of the population (numbers, gender, age, nationalities) and of the movement of the population (births, deaths, migration, changes of nationality).

Demobel can also be enriched with Census data about the education level, the labour market and housing.
