Decrease of the agricultural and horticultural price index in April

The agricultural and horticultural price index decreases in April (-9.7 %). The horticultural index returned to a level similar to that of the first two months of the year while the agricultural index fell by 7.2 %. Indeed, we can see a price decrease for animals and animal products.

In particular, the producer price index for pigmeat fell by 9.4 % and that for the poultry sector by 15.2 %. Finally, we also note that the index for eggs fell from 122.1 to 104.1.
