Agricultural prices on the rise in January

The agricultural output price index is 7.7% higher in January 2020 than in January 2019. This is due to output prices for animal production and animal products, which are higher compared to the beginning of last year but are slightly decreasing in comparison with December 2019.

The index for vegetables is decreasing. The decline amounts to 17.9% compared to December and to 19.1% compared to January 2019. 

Finally, the producer price of fruit is on the rise at the beginning of this year. The price of Conference pears increases by 30.1% compared to the previous month.
