Agricultural prices in decline for plants, on the rise for animals

On the whole, agricultural prices remain stable in February. The decrease, compared to January, of the producer price index for plants (mainly cereals) is offset by the slight increase of the index for animals. More specifically, the price index for poultry rose by 3.6 % and that of pigs by 2.6 %.

Prices for fruit decrease, the index falling from 118.31 to 114.82. However, it remains at a higher price level than what was observed at the beginning of 2019.
