The figures for week 35 reveal a decrease in the number of bankruptcies and a stabilisation of the number of job losses compared to the previous week.
During the first 35 weeks of 2022, the business courts pronounced 5,836 bankruptcies. This figure is 51.8% higher than in the first 35 weeks of 2021.
Job losses per bankruptcy are 20.8% lower in 2022 than in the previous year. During the first 35 weeks of 2022, 2.36 jobs were lost per bankruptcy while this ratio amounted to 2.98 in the same period in 2021.
