63 million litres of milk produced in January

62.8 million litres of milk were produced in January 2020. The major part of it (37.3 million litres, or 59.4 %) was semi-skimmed milk.

Whole milk accounted for 34.0 % of the total production (21.4 million litres) and skimmed milk for 6.5% (4.0 million litres).

Besides, 13.3 million litres of chocolate milk were produced, as well as 20.9 million litres of cream, 22.5 million litres of fermented milk, 4.8 million litres of yoghurt, 9,226 tonnes of cheese and 8,278 tonnes of butter (farm butter and blended butter).
