54.8 million litres of milk produced in May

54.8 million litres of milk were produced in May 2020. The major part of it (32.3 million litres, or 58.9%) was semi-skimmed milk.

Whole milk accounted for 33.2% of the total production and skimmed milk for 7.8%.

Besides, 7.4 million litres of chocolate milk were produced, as well as 12.1 million litres of cream, 21.2 million litres of fermented milk, 4.4 million litres of yoghurt, 7,982 tonnes of cheese and 7,604 tonnes of butter (farm butter and blended butter).
