3.56 million of overnight stays in September

The number of overnight stays spent in tourist accommodations in September 2019 amounted to 3.56 million.

50% of them took place in a hotel.

2,256,189 overnight stays were registered in the Flemish Region, 695,556 in the Walloon Region and 612,685 in Brussels.

41,320,284 overnight stays have been booked in Belgium in 2018. That is 7 % more than in 2017.

The Brussels-Capital Region registers the sharpest increase, with 10 % more overnight stays than in 2017.
