2.77 million of overnight stays in December

The number of overnight stays spent in tourist accommodations in December 2019 amounted to 2.77 million.

61% of them took place in a hotel.

1,567,603 overnight stays were registered in the Flemish Region, 537,590 in the Walloon Region and 663,811 in Brussels.

Tourism figures 2018

41,320,284 overnight stays have been booked in Belgium in 2018. That is 7 % more than in 2017.

The Brussels-Capital Region registers the sharpest increase, with 10 % more overnight stays than in 2017.
