134 bankruptcies in week 1

During the week from 2 to 8 January included (week 1), the business courts pronounced 134 bankruptcies, resulting in a total of 275 job losses.

The number of bankruptcies shows an increase compared to the last week of 2022 and the first week of the years 2019 and 2020. However, it should be noted that weeks 1 of 2019 and 2020 contained a public holiday, during which the business courts were closed, while week 52 of 2022 was in the year-end period when the number of registered bankruptcies decreases.
