10,298 births in July

In July 2020, there were 10,298 births in Belgium: 5,817 in Flanders, 3,106 in Wallonia and 1,375 in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Over the first seven months of the year, 67,469 babies were born in Belgium. This is a 1.1 % increase compared to the same period last year. At regional level, we observe an increase of 2.7 % in Flanders, 0,1 % in Wallonia and a decrease of 2.6 % in the Brussels-Capital Region.
