1 million enterprises in Belgium

At the end of August 2019, there were precisely 1,000,000 VAT-registered enterprises active in our country, i.e. 3.7 % more than the year before.

In August 2019, the number of new enterprises amounted to 5,744, which is a 18.4 % increase compared to August 2018. There were 1.2 % more restarts than a year earlier. There were 10 % more cessations in August 2019 than in the same period of the previous year.
